The beach works form an ongoing practice exploring the seaside environment as a nonspecific geographical location. The shoreline forms a metaphorical stage for the exploration of ideas around personal relationships. They often focus upon the enjoyment of life’s simple pleasures, strength, a moments respite or the shared intimacy between a couple and how the edge of the land forms a reflective space, a place to recoup and review.
