This is a painting of my daughter at 19 years old. She is starting university and has been a quirky kid her whole life. Included within the work are our four cats and a small silvereye bird. The silvereye represents Aurora, about to take flight and the cats represent my concern as a father for the welfare of my child, a little bird set free in a world of cats.
